The advent of modern technology, especially innovations related to or associated with computers and devices have revolutionalised the way we communicate. We are able to reach a far larger audience within a much shorter time frame. While this is mostly a boon, it is also imperative that we are able to make the technology work for us as opposed to being ruled by it. Technology is an amazing tool but it cannot be our master because it does not have the same discernment that we humans are supposed to have and exercise. This is even more important with the development of Artificial Intelligence or “AI”.
It is fair to say that advancements in AI has come along in leaps and bounds since its inception. So much so that some research has shown that it can replicate human behaviour and actions convincingly. With Chatgpt becoming more widely used, the possibility of some jobs being replaced by AI is becoming more likely.
But can AI really replace humans?
And, how do we find our place in a world that has human-like AI?
More importantly, how do we navigate our spiritual path in the face of AI that seems human?
AI while life-like is not alive
It is important to acknowledge that AI possesses a great wealth of information. Something that no one individual human being can probably compete with. That said, it is also very important to recognise that information and knowledge without discernment or wisdom will lead us nowhere. Worst still, it could lead us to destruction.
Just like technology, knowledge and information are tools. The only way they can enhance our lives is if we utilise it in an empowered fashion.
In the current information age, we can be misled into thinking that possessing information is the be all and end all of life. Information for information’s sake is but an illusion if we are unable to work with it from a point of knowing thyself.
What is discernment?
Discernment comes from knowing oneself well enough that we are able to make decisions for each of our highest goods. In other words, any decision made will be made with full self awareness, uninfluenced by the projections of society or our own traumas.
Decisions made with discernment are made from an empowered standpoint. We would be aware of our past hurts and would have taken steps to heal them. We would be fully aware of what is our stuff and what is someone else’s issues. We would take full ownership of ourselves. In that way, any decision made will be pure and in line with who we truly are. Not with the masks of illusion whether unconscious or conscious.
This also means recognising and accepting that what works for another may not work for us and vice versa.
Do not outsource who you truly are to technology
With technology like chatgpt, the line between humans and AI may become blurred with AI imitating human behaviour in evermore convincing ways. But, it is crucial to bear in mind that AI has its limitations - it only has what we put into it which will include knowledge that is clouded by projections, biases and assumptions. It will also be subject to manipulation because unlike an empowered human being, AI does not have discernment.
Any google search online on chatgpt’s limitations for example, will throw up many accounts of how it can be tricked into giving false or inaccurate advice. In that sense, despite its vastly superior data bank, it can still fail us. So while we make use of the wonders of human innovation, we have to always be alive to our own innate sentience.
Discernment always trumps knowledge and only empowered humans who truly know themselves can exercise discernment.
Knowing Thyself
The ancient mystery schools have always talked about the importance of truly knowing oneself. We all have a divine purpose and we can only fulfil that purpose or mission if we genuinely knew ourselves.
The Modern Mystery School in the lineage of King Solomon has a set path for us to know ourselves. It is a timeless path of progression that many have walked before us. In walking that path, we are able to navigate life and tell the difference between reality and illusion no matter what the circumstances are.
In a time such as this where information is flying at us left, right and centre, it is easy to get lost in that quagmire. It is easy to get distracted between what’s real and what’s not. But what remains unchanging and eternal is our innate divinity. We just need to be alive to it.
If we are able to live as our divine selves, there will be no need to fear the proliferation of AI or Chatgpt. These are but tools that can serve to enhance our human experience. They cannot replace us nor can they mislead us if we are truly empowered and know ourselves.
Most of us would have experienced some form of trauma or have had bad experiences. If we do not shed light on those traumas and take ownership to heal from them, we can easily be manipulated by things around us, such as the millions of theories and opinions proliferated by technology and packaged as facts. An opinion or a theory is just that - a hypothesis built on fallible assumptions. It is not a fact! However, if we are operating under the influence of unprocessed and unehealed trauma, it is not easy to tell the difference between fact and opinion.
If we were all empowered human beings who knew ourselves, then, technology such as chatgpt can truly revolutionalise the human experience in a wholly positive manner. However, if we are labouring under false pretenses without light shed on our unprocessed pain, AI can possibly lead us down the path of deception and confusion.
The Path
In the Modern Mystery School, the path of progression is laid out for any who wish to progress. It starts with something called a “Life Activation”. The Life Activation is a sacred ceremony that activates dormant DNA. Once activated, it reconnects us to our divine blueprint giving us greater clarity and bringing light into our structure to illuminate the parts of us that need healing and release.
After the Life Activation, comes the Empower Thyself Class and Initiation for those who wish to seek it. This is a two-day class that hands down ancient rituals for your toolkit. These ancient tools passed down from teacher to student in an unbroken tradition for thousands of years empower us to work with our own energy field, strengthening it, giving us a stronger sense of self. The initiation cuts through the veil of illusion and helps us to see through our own misconceptions and lies.
When we are truly able to see ourselves, is when we can see where we need healing from and take the steps necessary to progress. As the saying goes, there are no greater lies than the lies we tell ourselves.
When the light comes in to illuminate the darkest parts of ourselves, we are able to make choices that are true to our individual divine nature in alignment with our divine purposes.
For example, do you really want to be an investment banker or do you only want it because it allows you to feel like you are a success? Are you a doctor because you are trying to live out your parent’s unfulfilled ambitions? Are you stretching yourself financially to buy a house in a particular area because all of your social circle live in that specific area? And, are you imposing all of these unconscious projections onto others such as your children?
Ultimately, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be an investment banker or a doctor or wanting to live in a specific area if those are things that you genuinely want from a position of self-awareness and self-knowledge. The key is to be able to recognise the difference between who you truly are and what is the expectation of someone or something else.
The ability to see these things in a razor-sharp way is not easy. It comes with willingness, perseverance, and discipline. You first have to want it and seek it. Then, you have to follow the path and stick with it. Self-empowerment and knowing yourself do not always feel comfortable. It requires you to stretch and grow. It necessitates looking at past pains and facing up to past triggers in order to acknowledge, heal and release from them. With each hurdle, we then get to know ourselves better and with the mastery over each new challenge, we awaken more and more to our God self. There is no greater freedom than this.
In a nutshell:
Information for the sake of information is pointless. In fact, too much information can bury us and prevent us from ever taking the necessary actions. It can keep us stuck. We need to know what we want and how to find and use the information in order to progress.
Innovations in AI such as chatgpt are wonderful tools that can help us get to where we need to be. But, we first need to know where we want to be and we can’t truly know that unless we truly know ourselves.
